it's not disinformation - it's been reported on by Washington Times reporters and other responsible journalists for the past few years. Clinton left the military totally depleted. He used up nearly all of our cruise missiles during his impeachment sagas. Then the navy totally ran out out of the JDAM kits during the Afghan campaign.

Why else did Bush raise the defense budget so drasticly? He didn't run on enlarging the military. We just need the magic bullets.

We will not attack Iraq until or unless we have some kind of contingency to protect against the threat communicated in the letter to Daschle. As things stand, once Desert Shield II ramps up, we're going to see a sharp uptick in cities wiped out by anthrax: oops, there goes London, there goes Rome, do you feel lucky, Mr. Bush? All isolated incidents of course, probably the work of a loose-knit, distributed network of copy-cat Christian fundamentalist right-to-lifers and renegade mad scientists. You know the routine.

Days, weeks, months. It doesn't matter as long as it happens before Saddam puts all of his WMD pieces together.

I have no idea about the reliability of that source. IMO we're six months away from attacking Iraq for logistic reasons and lack of precision-guided munitions. No reserve port detachments have been called up yet, etc.

I have offically lost all confidence in the competency of the Bush administration.

Well, how would you protect us against an anthrax attack? As of right now, we are f***ed, I'm afraid. I sure hope Bush's boys can come up with something.

Hard to tell, but we are doing things that indicate something may be up, such as our purchasing of buttloads of fuel and having our logistics groups being very active.

I voted for Bush figuring him to be a moderate conservative. For a while it seemed like I was going to be pleasantly surprised, but now it seems my initial assesment was correct.

I've always said I don't expect to agree with anyone 100% of the time, and if a I agree with a politician 2/3 of the time I'm happy. For a while Bush was hitting about 90% but know he's down to around the 2/3 mark. Still, assuming that CFR gets thrown out, he can still reverse most of his bad decisions of late.

Everybody on the planet will be well aware when we are about to go to war with Iraq. The gov't won't have to say a thing- you'll know it just from the massive numbers of troops and equipment that are getting moved into the area. You can't hide that sort of logistical footprint. It is massive and it costs oodles of money.

It would also be a very safe assumption that this time, we will not stop until Saddam is gone, which will mean going into Baghdad. I suspect rather than withdraw as we did last time, once the actual fighting is over, we will occupy for quite a while until a gov't we are satisfied with is in place (like in Afghanistan).

If you look at the map it is obvious that Iraq is a prime piece of strategic real estate. We would occupy out of "military necessity" and we could stage further military operations from there. It opens up a nice land corridor from Turkey to Axis of Evil member Iran, which would then be almost totally geographically isolated with US occupied Afghanistan to the East, US occup. Iraq to the West, US ally Turkey also to the West and we've just secured use of airbases in Georgia. The only border left is then the one with Pakistan which gives Iran no joy because Musharaf is more or less in our pockets and has bigger fish to fry with their own problems with India.

The Bush admin has to go for the whole kit and kaboodle the way I see it. Totally restructure the Middle East into an entity that is no longer a threat to the western world and the US.

You can't blame Bush for what is happening, the Moslems have wanted to take over the world since the beginning of their existance. Even the Crusades were in part a response to the Moslem invasions of other lands. In so far as going to war with Saddam is concerned, he already has a few nukes that we suspect, but three of them will not wipe out the U.S., it will only guarantee his total destruction from our response.

It is better to be hit by one or two 'dirty bombs' than by 50 or 60 full scale nukes. If we wait, he and the other Moslem nations will continue to build up their stockpiles until they believe they can destroy us with their first strike. We have known for several years that Iran has at least four nuclear warheads in their possession. Syria is also trying to acquire nuclear weapons as was Afganistan under the Al-Queda and the Taliban.

If you don't believe that the Moslems would attempt to wipe us out, what do you think the WTC and Pentagon attacks were about? There was a nuclear plant that was targeted also, but that plane never got off the ground. Consider how many would have been killed or sickened by any radiation that would have leaked from that.

The 9/11 attack on the WTC is not the first time the Moslems tried to destroy the U.S. by destroying the US economy by destroying the towers, they also car bombed it a few years ago killing several and injuring many. Comsider the Cole bombing, as well as the Kohbar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, as well as the barracks bombing in Lebanon, several of our embassies that have been bombed, and perhaps you will get the picture that they have already declared war on us. We just haven't correctly responded to them yet.

Their desire is to totally eliminate both the USA and Russia so they can have their way in the rest of the world. They have already attacked Russia with a series of terrorist bombings to attempt to intimidate Russia into letting the terrorists run unopposed. Russias fighting in Chechnia and the other nations around them is in response to those attacks.

When those attacks occured, many people claimed that they were staged by Russia itself as part of a plan to rebuild their empire because the Moslems wouldn't be brave or dumb enough to attack Russia. Well guess what, they were brave and dumb enough to attack us on our own homeland and they were also brave and bumb enough to attack Russia also. Fortunately, the Russians refused to just lay down and are fighting the Chechian and other Moslem terrorists in that part of the world.

World wide, there are many smaller wars and revolutions going on and almost all of them have been started by the Moslems attempting to destroy their neighbors. We lost 3,000 people so far from the Moslem attacks, but worldwide, there are hundreds of thousands of non moslems being killed, maimed, tortured, and raped yearly by the Moslems.

The 9/11 attacks have opened the eyes of many people who just couldn't believe that the Moslems would directly attack the US. The sheeple felt that we were so strong that no one would dare attack us and all the other attacks against us were just isolated attacks by a few loonies.

Islam is not a peaceful religion, it's entire history is a history of war and conquest. When they are defeated and driven out of an area, they must according to their religion retake that land because it an insult to their 'god' to let 'their' lands fall to the infidels.

Their religion is an ungodly religion totally unholy and without honor. Their religion teaches them to lie to their enemies as well as themselves and that lieing, stealing, murder, rape, etc., is perfectly acceptable as long as it is to honor their 'god'. They will make peace treaties with the full intention of breaking them just as soon as they are strong enough to defeat the ones that they made treaties with.

Only a fool would believe that they would honor any peace treaty with Israel. The only reason for agreeing to any treaty with Israel is to weaken Israel more by compressing them into a smaller area that is indefensable.

Some people claim that the U.S. invites the Moslems strikes against us by supporting Israel and other nations such as Kuwait. The Moslems desire to take over the entire world is only prevented because the rest of the world in it's entirety out weighing them. Their aim is to take over one nation after another until they get large enough to take over their largest enemies also.

The statement that the US is unjustified in attacking Iraq is in itself unjustified because those making that statement are unaware of exactly how Iraq was involved in assisting the terrorist attacks against us. We know that Iraq helped the terrorists and we do have absolute proof of that.

We also know that Iraq has been acquiring nuclear weapons and capacity to make them for some time now. There is nothing that would prevent them from attacking the US either directly via nuclear bombs or through terrorist actions if they believed that they could get away with it.

Saying that Bush is responsible for starting the war in Afganistan is totally wrong, the war had been started against us years ago already.

In Afganistan, the terrorists took over that nation after it was weakened by Russias invasion. We even helped Bin Laden drive the Russians out because the Afganis could not have done it by themselves. We just didn't realize how treacherous the Moslems were until they turned against us also. They went along with us until they were strong enough to go against us.

They never wanted us in Afganistan or in any other arab nation, even when we are only there to help. The Moslem terrorists don't want us in Saudi Arabia because our presence there is preventing them from taking over that country from their Moslem brothers. The same is true of Oman, Kuwait and a few others.

Several far sighted people realized that when the Soviet empire fell, that it would be the start of several wars because it was only the Soviet empires strength that was holding those asian Arab countries that were a part of the Soviet union in check. Once the union disolved, those countries became free to do what they wanted unopposed.

One way or another, the US will most likely be hit by nuclear weapons and it is better to be hit by only one or two or three rather than by hundreds of them. I realize that the death toll in the US could be enormous, but it will be even greater if we continue to delay.

Our best bet with the lowest loss would be to totally destroy the terrorist nations before they destroy us. They have no mercy at all and we should show them none.
