Los Angeles casting director Brennan du Fresne, Ransom Everglades class of '90, played host to Janet Reno during Elton John's post-Oscars charity bash Sunday.

"Seemed like she got more attention than Halle Berry, who was there with her Oscar." says Brennan, 30.

The former attorney general, now running for governor, rubbed elbows with a bunch of celebs--John Goodman, Jamie Foxx, Sissy Spacek and daughter Schuyler Fisk, Sting and producer-wife Trudy Styler, Lionel Richie, and Scrubs star Donald Faison. Brennan's mom, Miami attorney Elizabeth du Fresne, 59, has been a Reno pal for 30 yers. Brennan's casting credits include Wag the Dog and the upcoming flick Spider-Man.

Reno has a job at Universal Studies. Her work location is out front, near that path from the parking lot. She stands very still and customers think she is a statue. Than, when some young person comes by, she growls and moves toward him and startles him. It is amusing. Insurance costs are evry high, however. The insurers remember Reno's record of attacking innocent people and mudering many.
