I wasn't saying you, Lazarus Long, did. I was making a general argument--"But you can't call him a traitor, as some people here have, for trying to defend America first." I didn't mean you personally, otherwise I wouldn't have used the qualifying phrase, "as some people here have." I was trying (I guess unsuccessfully) to exclude you from that group. In retrospect, I would have done better to write, "but one can't call him a traitor, as some people here have, . . ."
