Does that mean Republicans wouldn't vote for a Hispanic? How many Democrats voted for him?
Only in the corrupted currency of the Left would the party that elected a lily-white suburbanite be considered the champions of the Hispanic community, while the party that actually RAN a Hispanic and failed to elect him is considered bigoted. In the rainbow world of the Democrats, that king of "logic" actually makes sense.

The X and Z in his name. So if he had been Javier Rodrigues instead of Xavier Rodriguez, he'd have won?
Makes as much sense as the rest of the article, that is not much.

This is an opinion piece designed to separate and alienate. The writer does not know why Senor R lost. How could he possibly know for sure???

I can't speak for Texas, but my state senator is of Mexican bloodline and named Garcia. The district is 98% Caucasian, one of the most right-wing parts of the state. However, he was very conservative.
He took 54% in a 3-way primary(mostly hardliners). 77% in the general against the dem. Michigan is also probably more anti-immigrant because of the unions.

One thing this does tell you is that the Dims are willing to start race wars if they think it will get them an election. If you look at the fear-mongering and race-baiting in the last Presidential campaign, this tells you the direction they're going. The NAACP running the pickup dragging chains ad, while ignoring that two of the perps were sentenced to death, the other to life in prison. Jessie Jackson running around Huntsville trying to start race riots, holding up paintings of a convicted killer as a crucified Christ. This was the same guy that had shot five people and was arrested when he fell asleep in bed with a cab driver he had kidnapped and raped.
Do not expect it to get any better. The Dems don't care if the cities burn, and they WILL start race riots, if they think it will help elect their candidate.

I live in Cal. and I won't vote for a hispanic simply because I don't like being told I should...I want to know WHY I should and I want to know how "Hispanic issues" are any different than Anglo issues...
Why would I want to vote for someone who sees my issues/concerns as different from theirs?
SCREW THE PARTY!
