Oh I thought Whoopie's send off of Moulin Rouge was funny....and the rest of her monolouge mercifully short. The opening taped segment with people talking about their favorite movies was hilarious...much better than Whoopie doing stand-up. And it looks like movie stars will do the same throughout the evening...nice touch.

I'm with you, YaYa, I thought the tape and Whoopee's entrance were great. Her jokes lacked punch, but you're right, at least it was short.
