Bonowho writes lyrics like "Alright alright, alright, alright, alright/It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright He also wrote HEY BABY HEY BABY HEY.....
The guy has talent..LOL..
I liked Bono when I was in HS and early college but then I grew up.

From now on, I expect every Freeper to refer to me as
"Bono" SkyPilot And yesterday, I saw a little Golden Retirever with a limp....broke my heart...I wish you all would do something about it.

Just another Limousine Liberal. Live to the right talk to the left. A pretentious fop. I hate to see Bush pander to a phony character like this.

"100% taxation"
"seize his wealth"
These suggestions from a conservative publication?
Is it a humor magazine, like MAD, or am I missing something?
I really don't know.

The lyrics comment was not fair, and written by someone who doesn't know crap about U2. Bono is an amazing artist and he has given great amounts of his own personal wealth away. Too bad people that are very uneducated about him try to take pot shots at him.

Oh, golly! Another liberal "artist." Add him to the bin. You'd think with all of them running around caring so conspicuously, they'd have done some good over the years. But nothing seems to be any better.
I dare say that toppling one leftist government would go farther toward true "liberation" of the Third World than all the U2 benefits ever will.

I find it insane that we give any foreign aid at all, when we have so many of our own citizens with no health insurance, mental patients living on the street because there's no asylums for them, lines of addicts waiting to get into rehab, and so forth ..
Charity begins at home. Especially when it's Americans's own money being taken from them and given to non-americans.

What do you get when you rotate the "N" in BONO by 90o?
To: The Old Hoosier
Bono spends thousands upon thousands of dollars on designer sunglasses. Maybe if he wore Ray Bans it would free up lots of his cash to lessen Third World debt.
He'd rather keep his money and let us foot the bill for loans that have lined the pockets of despots. It just shows how truly ignorant these celebrities are.

All that needs to be done to put these limosine libs back into their box is to set up a provision in the tax code where anyone who wishes can donate all their income, above the established poverty level, to whatever government program in which they feel we don't spend enough.
1. Housing the homeless
2. Feeding the hungry
3. International aid
4. The UN
5. etc.
Let them put their money where their mouths are before demanding the rest to part with more of their own paychecks. How many think Cher, Babs or Sheen will be selling their mansions in Malibu?

Bono should go live with his 3rd world scum rat friends. Maybe he could be the main dish at Mugabe's next big feast. I heard they need the food now since they killed off all the white farmers.

Man is not elevated by the state, he is elevated by his own exertions when the state gets out of his way.
I'm going to make T-Shirts that say this, anyone want one?

Bono is just another example of people who have no idea how capitalism or economics work, but have all kinds of wonderful ideas on how make it more fair.
