Well I take the pill and I'm no whore. I take it because I had cancer and need the hormone replacement surgery. I spent days at a Women's Cancer Center getting educated about the pros and cons of the pill.

Although there is an increase in the risk of breast cancer, so monitoring is essential, the estrogen pill has been shown in study after study to REDUCE dramatically the risk of heart attack (up to 70% reduction), a 90% reduction in the insidence of stroke, and reduced risk of other forms of cancer, including lung cancer. And women on estrogen replacement therapy do not get Ahlzheimer disease.

So ladies, stay sane, and take your pill!!!!

Funny, the purveyor of death and Pills, Planned Barrenhood, curiously does not mention in their Pill propaganda the health benefits of the Pill which you mention - though they do falsely claim it does not increase the risk of stroke or heart attack.

BTW, Clearly you ain't the typical user.
If you ain't a whore then I was not talking about you.

I call you on your claims that the Pill reduces heart attack and stroke.

If it is true so be it. I just want to see the source for your claims.

Although there is an increase in the risk of breast cancer, so monitoring is essential

I believe there is some suggestion in the data that, though estrogen users, more the women who use estrogen replacement therapy rather than contraceptives have an increased risk of breast cancer, they may actually have a lesser mortality because they are more likely to be monitored with regular mammograms and have an earlier diagnosis. Again, the final answer awaits.

Sorry, you've been duped -- by all those in the health $$ making business.

Please get Dr. John Lee's book: What your doctor may not tell you about Menopause. It's very important info.

Dr. John Lee
