How many people was this flyer actually given to and was it distributed to the public, or just members of the state legislature? Also, how was it distributed? Did this Alzona guy hand them out in person or did he put them in people's mailboxes?

In other words, who is really making the big stink out of this action?

Personally, although I agree with the pro-gun message trying to be made, if I were one of these assemblymen, I'd be thinking slander if this went public and may be tempted to make it go public for financial and political gain if that wasn't the way it was originally presented. Hope this guy's got all his ducks in line!

"...if I were one of these assemblymen, I'd be thinking slander..."

Public figures are fair game. That is, until Congress proscribes criticism of our government masters.

I saw Alzona personally distribute the flier just to the members of the Maryland Senate and House Judiciary Committees, solely in lieu of written testimony against the cross-filed Frosh, Van Hollen and Kennedy Shriver gun OWNER REGISTRATION bill calling for the photographing, fingerprinting, numbering, licensing and registration of ALL Maryland gunowners as a final solution to the problem of gun violence. The Democrats continue to claim that they are doing it "For the children". One of the "offended" Democrats gave it to the press and the rest is history. ;-)

The Maryland "Million Mom March" (all ONE of them down in Annapolis both days) spokesman used the multi-million dollar Kennedy Shriver spin machine to enrage certain Jewish supporters in order to score political points against Alzona and the GOP. This even though Alzona had, for the record, made it very clear that the flier came from the TRT and that, on that particular bill, he was speaking as an individual member of the TRT.
