Kristol STILL isn't going to get a job. Hahaha!

Yeah, that Cheney is a real amateur. If only they would do things Bill's way. If only HE were in the administration....

Heheheh.

When asked about Kristol's comments about the China plane incident, Cheney told Tim Russert, "He's trying to sell magazines."

Heheheh.

Yeah, that Cheney is a real amateur.

Perhaps he can arrange a meeting between Kofi Annan and Osama bin Laden at an international conference in Europe to negotiate a cease fire between AlQaeda and the United States ...

I never dreamed Bush/Cheney/Powell would squander the support of the American people is such a fashion. With our dead scarcely buried, it is repugnant.

Must we be forced to suffer through seven more years of Kristol whining that he would make a better President?

My infant daughter cries less than Kristol (but she at least has valid reasons, such as diapers needing changing, for said screams).

Will someone please tell Kristol that the "Me Era" is over?! I don't think that he's heard yet (probably because he only listens to his own voice)...

Oh, please. Do you think Bill Kristol gets any information except what is in the papers? He has NO idea what Cheney did, and they are not about to tell him.

Who would you rather have conducting negotiations with foreign heads of state...Cheney or Kristol?

Christopher, you'll remember, was sent to Europe by President Clinton to seek allied support for an American plan to help Bosnian Muslims defend themselves against Serbian killers. Christopher failed to make a forceful case to the Europeans, who told him to get lost, and he went home empty-handed and humiliated.

The Europeans were right in 1993. Screw you Kristol....the Serbs weren't the killers....they were defending themselves against the islamic fundamentalists. Europe didn't want a muslim stronghold in Europe like they have now, thanks to klinton/nato

They're Baaaack!!! We knew their silence against Bush was only temporary. I am also sorry to see that Rush is trying to outdo Kristol, in bashing GW.

NOT SINCE Secretary of State Warren Christopher returned from Europe with egg on his face in May 1993 has a high-ranking American official had such a bad week abroad as Vice President Dick Cheney just spent in the Middle East.

I don't think that's really a fair statement. Mainly, it shows me that the Arab states are pro-terrorist and pro-Iraq. Fine, Cheney didn't really have a good go of it. If any of us walked into a peacenik rally, how many converts would we be walking away with?

Cheney showed guts walking into the den of wolves. I'm not surprised that it wasn't a real success story.

Concur, but neither do we and I am very nervous with the weakness the Bush Administration is publicly projecting throughout the Islamic world. It invites more terrorism and more shed blood. I fear someone has gone wobbly on us.

Who would you rather have conducting negotiations with foreign heads of state...Cheney or Kristol?

After the attack on our capital I would prefer a real American warrior. Are there any of those who are not compromised or for sale ?

I don't understand your position.

The initial response of the Bush Administration seemed to be on target but their ardor in defense of our nation seems to have considerably cooled. Why is Baghdad still standing and the entire Islamic world mocking us ?

The Cheney trip was a disaster. Cheney gave an ultimatum to Yasser Arafat. Arafat spit in his face by launching a series of suicide attacks. What did the US do to Arafat? Nothing. Cheney also read the riot act to other Arab leaders, including the Saudis. After his humiliation by Arafat, his tough words have no credibility with the Arabs.

Oh, puleeeeease! While I will concede your point with respect to Kristol, Rush's criticisms of Bush are well-grounded, overdue, and tempered with words of praise.

Sounds to me like you may have a Bush-olatry problem. (Sorry to break this to you, but W puts on his pants the same way you and I do, one leg at a time. I know that is hard for you to accept, of course.)

Attention! Baghdad is still standing because we are following an orderly process, planning strategy and tactics, moving troops (pay attention to all the deployments, training excercises, advisory missions, etc.) and WAITING FOR MORE BOMBS!

What do you think, that we should just nuke them?

I understand impatience, but the best thing would be to get Saddam out of office without any bloodshed (except his). Failing that, we will go in, and we will need allies, BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE BY OURSELVES.

I do not understand why this is hard to figure out. Also, the Saudis are going to have an uprising on their hands when we do go in, so it is necessary to plan for that. What was Tommy Franks doing in Russia? Why is the Saudi prince coming to Crawford? How many of our people are in Georgia now? These are all pieces of the puzzle, which eventually you will see.

I am sorry, but there is not going to be an announcement about when we will go in. The element of surprise is a little more important than your personal sattisfaction.

Do you think that perhaps the shoe is on the other foot, in that Arafat, supported by the Arab leaders, embarassed THEM?

What, was Cheney supposed to go find Arafat and shoot him? The Taliban thought we wouldn't do anything either. They chose unwisely, as has Arafat.

What did the US do to Arafat? Nothing.

Precisely, they have unilaterally compromised American lives by appearing so weak in the Islamic world. They are groveling before a terrorist (Arafat) and BinLaden's tribe is laughing at us.

Cheney also read the riot act to other Arab leaders, including the Saudis. After his humiliation by Arafat, his tough words have no credibility with the Arabs.

I did not expect the Bush administration to be this unprincipled and unprepared. They are clearly in over their heads. Their actions do not match their words. It is a sad day for America.
