Sorry about the boyscout thing. Still, I think we should be much harder on Castro. I certainly do not wish confusing revolutions and tribulations accross the world, however, at times, I find slugging it out much more honest and down to Earth than playing peace and love Jesus, let us carry the cross of trusting them while they never have to do so. This causes at times much more anger and generation long vicious hatreds than if people had slugged it out in the first place.

We agree on much. We should have taken the guy out 40 years ago and told the USSR to eat it. Monroe Doctrine, National Defense, eliminate torture and oppression. Plenty of reasons to get involved in a country so close by.
But we did not. I'm trying hard to understand why we don't try something new and I think Bush could lead on the issue, unlike the bootlicker we had in there before.
Let's part in disagreement til we cross swords again.
