Mornin' all, from a LATE frost March day in South Carolina - 28 here with wind chill of 24 is extreme for this time of the year.
It will, however, be in the 60's today and resume the 70's tomorrow and forward.
It does not deter the azaleas and dogwood, blooming like crazy, though, and I have some bedding plants to set out later in the week.
The pansies have stood lone duty since late October, and will be relieved of command in a few weeks.
* SALUTES * to you guys serving with the Coast Guard!
So often you are Unsung Heroes, deserving of greater recognition!
From our hearts to yours - a Thank You.

A late freeze (14 yesterday and 20 today) also here in Kentucky. Afraid we will not have a peach crop again this year. We had great peaches three years ago and since then, not a thing. Oh well, at least we will have apples, pears and it looks like the cherry tree out back is doing fine.

How beautiful to have azaleas and dogwood. I am a big dogwood fan.
Thank you LadyX so much. You served our country and still are as you support our wonderful troops and I thank you for your support of the FReeper USO Canteen too.
