He was smitten by Elins brains as well as her beauty before she met Tiger she was studying psychology in Berlin.
Elin says her dream job would be: A psychologist or working with children.
She plans to continue her studies soon but is having no trouble filling her time between golf tournaments.

The future is less certain, as Tigers dad Earl says: A wife can be a deterrent to a good game of golf.

I don't know or care if his game will change.
I'm not a golfer but my husband is a rabid one. I guess I do know a little more than average about golf because he's always watching the Golf Channel.
Having said that I could care less about Tiger Woods, although I find it amusing that this young guy comes along and kicks everyone elses butt, LOL.
I'm just giving Constitution Day a hard time because I know him and he posted a rather risque picture of a cheerleader on another thread a week or so ago.
I never gave race a thought while composing my original post.

If he hooks up with her in marriage form...he will need to win another 25 tournaments just to make up for what she will take from him in a divorce 5 yrs later.

The tragethy is, that you might be absolutely right! If he would be on a garbage truck, collecting the trash, she would never "seen" him. That's his drama, not ours, let's wait and see!!

Now we know why: Tiger!Tiger!is burning bright
in the forests of the night
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame her wondrous symmetry?

Life is short. EnjoyEh, my guess is this is just a fling for him. She looks plastic. He ain't stupid. He won't marry this one. He'll look for a strong-minded, loyal, athletic type to marry, if he ever does marry. He'll want to enhance the gene pool. In his position, he can pick and choose. An Arnold Palmer/Jack Nicklaus type wife, with highly athletic genes. That's be my guess, anyway.

Hey Bob, that's not what I ment, It's just the way people react, when celebreties choose their mates! Sometimes they choose inter-racial, then extra-racial! Succesfull.. see my post, but often they try to get media-coverage for that, and than, if they do it for more attention, they fail!!See: our German Boris Becker, and there might be more examples in America

On the other hand, Andre Agassi married Brooke Shields and his tennis tanked. John McEnroe married Tantrum O'Neal and his tennis tanked. I know tennis much better than I know golf, but it has been a very long time since a married male has won a tennis Grand Slam event. It will be interesting to see how Andre does with Steffi and how Pete Sampras does with his new wife. I wish them only the best, but history does not bode well for their success.

When I want to get a rise out of my wife, I tell our 3-year old she'll be eligible about the time of Tiger's first divorce. (Hey, I can dream, can't I?)
To: janette
You might have misunderstood my post. All I meant was that Tiger and the young lady are single and if they are mutually attracted, should enjoy each others company. What his father thinks and/or anyone thinks should be irrelevant.
Tiger is a young man wealthy beyond anyone's dreams. That he is also a well spoken young man who also is a good role model for kids of any race is not a factor - but is icing on the cake.
I don't care if they do or do not get married.
He should enjoy his young life that he worked so hard to achieve.

I absolutely go with you, but in case of Agassi and Graf I might assume, that they both made already the deal, that he will retiere very soon. I know the "German culture" and she is very strong. I think, she will give hime good advice, to stop, when nessasary!

I have heard that Tiger choses to live strictly off of his earnings on the course. All the endorsement money goes into investments and charity. He says that keeps his head in the game because, in his mind, that is still his sole source of income.
Pretty smart kid.

I agree. The guy is in his twenties, apparently not gay. What do we expect him to do?

I would sure miss him from the game, but I know enough people in the entertainment world (which is similary in some ways) to know that you give up any chance at a normal life if you are going to tour. It would also pain me to see him play way past his ability to do it well. The body only has so many years it can endure that type of punishment.
