Well, Hedy Lamarr invented frequency hopping, so I guess certainly possible that Marilyn invented videotapes back in the 50s.....
The rest of us had to wait a few years.

They might be refering to an 8mm as a tape.
I skimmed that article on my lunch break. All the story says is that "experts" "fear" the 8mm tape mentioned in that recently released FBI report "might" have been transfered to videotape.
