Great in depth article, Tom Burnett's wife also says that before getting on the plane September her husband was having 'visions' of varoius sites in Washingtom including the White House.
Burnett, a devout Catholic took it as a sign from God that he would be called on to somehow serve his country in the nations capital.
No, it doesn't. But what is your point in how it relates to what happened on that flight?
Take my advice: Do not go there.
Your comment cuts both ways: after all, somebody felt it urgently necessary to inform us that Mark Bingham was gay.
1. Four groups of airline passengers on 9/11 allowed themselves to be cowed, herded, and essentially captured by very small groups of goat-smelling bastards armed only with boxcutters.
2. The crash of Flight 93 apparently was caused by the futile attempts of a handful of passengers who acted only after they learned that they were facing imminent and certain death as riders of a missile aimed at a Washington, D.C. landmark. They clearly had nothing to lose by trying to re-capture the cockpit after it was far too late to do so with any expectation of success.
3. This creation and adulation of "heroes" is both nauseating and akin to an entire nation and its leaders believing in Santa Claus.
4. Largely overlooked is the fact that the fate of four airliners on 9/11 stands as a shameful testament to the degree to which the people of this Nation largely have been:
(a) turned into a citizenry too-widely populated by emasculated sheep;
(b) spoon-fed and have bought into propoganda disseminated by Government "security experts" who for decades now have been preaching that hijacked passengers should meekly submit to their captors so that "nobody will get hurt; and
(c) under the influence of years of poisonning by a liberal leadership at all levels of government, feminists, peaceniks, politically-correct socialists, and the mind-rotting mass media, dumbed-down and stripped of any warrior spirit that ever existed in America's better days.
We really should wake up and smell the reality that America on many fronts has become a nation of wusses. The terrorists knew and continue to know this and correctly predicted that the horror of 9/11 would be inflicted on this Nation without their having to fire a shot.
Despite the ass-kicking they have received at the hands of the best and the bravest of us who proudly wear the uniforms of American soldiers, sailors, and airmen, these religiously fanatical servants of Satan apparently have been emboldened to carry out yet more attacks on American citizens and interests around the world.
One can only pray that we Americans now have more resolve and perspective concerning our mortality, vulnerability, and weaknesses to successfully redeem ourselves from the national shame that should have been trumpeted from the housetops since 9/11.
I love this country and believe that it was established under the hand of the Almighty to serve as His earthly base of operations in these latter days. And I pray that we all will seek His guidance and protection and a sense of purpose and destiny.
And as the for "heroism" over the skys of America on that fateful September morning, I can only say -- "Lets' Roll," my @ss.....
Point is, I believe I've seen you advocate jailing homosexuals. Under your regime, Bingham would have been sitting in prison instead of acting in a heroic fashion on 9/11. As if that isn't enough, it appears Bingham was also a fellow conservative.
Does that lead you to rethink your position?
It doesn't. What are you and texlok, gay apologists, or maybe queers yourselves?

Hindsight is 20/20, I guess.
Worse. Libertarian.
No, but the fact that he was gay has nothing to do with what he did on that plane
Would you have preferred he not do anything?
Good comeback. Does your teacher know you're playing on the internet, or has junior high let out for the day?
That is true, but somebody also felt it necessary to mention that he was a Republican.
To be honest, as far as I'm concerned, I don't care if he was homo, hetero, or a-sexual, I don't care if he was Republican, Democrat, Green, Libertarian, or belonged to some UFO cult.
I care that he and a couple of others did the right thing when it counted the most.
foreverfree
P.S. HINT: I'm 40 years old.
Frankly, his private life is none of your d@mn business and it's very arrogant of you to think you have the right to interject your judgment of his 'lifestyle', especially posthumously.
So you just choose to ignore the observations made by those on the plane about a bomb?
You choose to believe it was shot down because you say some people "saw and heard fighters" yet you don't reference those people?
Sorry, no sale.
But free to act like he's 14.
Whether one finds his sexual preference abhorent is a completely different subject.
