The principal and a teacher have been removed

This story has been all local talk radio the last couple of days. The principal didn't know about the strip searches until they were over but she was in charge of the school. There were, according to one caller, three teachers were involved. Not one spoke up against doing the search. Publish all names involved and fire them.

This story was buried in the Kansas City (Red) Star (Pravda) today. I bought a copy because I needed it to wrap some things for storage.

The Wall Street Journal is much better for wrapping things. The pages are larger, thicker, and arranged in only three sections (unless there is a bonus special section) so it's easier to use. And there are no annoying advertising inserts. Of course it costs twice as much, but there is actually news in it as well. ;-)

This district has some much management and so little common sense.

Unfreaking believable. I can't listen to Tom Becka anymore - it's cost me too many slammed-against-the-wall radios.

And I cancelled my subscription to the KC (Red) Star. I almost cancelled after they canned Linda Bowles. Then I almost cancelled after Louis Diugiud's historically inaccurate rant about "Radical Republicans". And then they outed Father Thom Savage, unnecessarily. That put me over the top. So I don't get the KC (Red) Star to read anymore.

So the only way I even heard about this was on the top of the hour news reports. The first public school teacher who even THINKS of doing this to my child will get personally "pantsed" by me.

And I'm with you, Troutstalker. The WSJ is a much better grade of paper, anyway you judge it. And I point out the articles about resisting governmental intrusion to my children on a regular basis. My children, I hope, would resist these Gestapo tactics. fsf
