Thank God that Spencer Tracy already played General Jimmy Doolittle in "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo". I saw "Pearl Harbor", and tried to ignore Baldwin. Tracy's portrayal left lib boy's in the dust. That's the one i'll remember. Too bad they couldn't use another actor to play General Doolittle or computerize Tracy into "Pearl Harbor".

Damn. I used to like Hunt for Red October, nut now I can't watch it.

Great minds think alike! Me too. Hey, how's about we digitally replace Alec with another, less New Butt Order actor and cut a new DVD? We'd make trillions, or maybe even billions!

Excellent point!! So much for historical accuracy. Hope Howard pays for it at the Oscars. And if Howard does make this movie, there's another product from Hollyweird that won't get a dime of my money.

I am curious how the fate of Davey Crocket will be portrayed? Will he fight to the death like some believe or will he be captured and executed like others believe? In my mind there is and will only be one Alamo movie worth seeing and that is the one John Wayne made.

It should be Angelina Jolie as the mulatto. She's half-Voight and half something or other (Phillipino?) and one might be able to appreciate why Santa Anna told his first officer I said git outta here boy.

Let's make Armand Assante Santa Anna. But about Baldwin - since Travis was the first to be shot, maybe the footage prior to the actual battle will be fun.

F*ck Baldwin. Matthew McConnahay (sp?) is a real Texan and the way to go.

Here's a good Alamo FAQ.

This is a nice way to end the week, out of the nightmare of world politics and into the romance of Texas past....

NAFTA - who said ya hafta?

Griffith and Ron Howard are both liberals, though I must admit, not of the more offensive types.
