Not in the least. Nor is there anyting in the article or my comments that suggest any such sentiment. However, I think it is accurate to say that I am concerned that our training and equipment may be inadequate (due to 8 years of military "meals on wheels" programs) and that "group think" and PC sentiments have put our guys unnecessarily in harm's way.

It would seem appropriate that they learn what a mountain is.

I've climbed both Baker and Shuksan, as well as done cross country skiing through the cascades. Although I dont currently serve in the mountain divisions though. May I sir?

sure, there are small British special forces that are better trained in particular areas than US Army divisions as a whole ... but posting this anti-American tripe belies any 'noble' intent.
