Why can you not have morality without faith? What if you realize living morally makes you happy? Or is morality only a way to get into heaven? Morals are a function of faith. If you believe in nothing how can you derive a moral foundation from emptiness? Atheist don't believe in heaven hence the name "atheist".

I am not really an athiest, but I think it might be too strong of a statement to say that athiests believe in "nothing." In any case, I imagine that it might be possible to deny the existence of moral absolutes while at the same time recognizing the inherent utility of behaving as though there were.

If you believe in nothing OR are agnostic, you can still realise morals are worthwhile because to live without them means to be unhappy. It can have nothing to do with a "greater reward." Do you believe that morals are only good for that greater reward? Immorality causes suffering in this life, too, not just in the next.
