Our parishioner, Ted Maher, is in prison in Monaco awaiting trial. The Church of the Resurrection is accepting donations to its Donor Advised Outreach Fund (DAOF) to help Ted meet the legal expenses of having his expert witnesses testify in the trial.
If you would like to help, please make out a check to the Church of the Resurrection and write in the memo line: "DAOF: Ted Maher." Mail it to the Church at P.O. Box 148, Hopewell Junction, N.Y. 12533.
Donors should understand that gifts to the DAOF are donations to the Church. To protect both the donor and the Church, the Church gladly takes into consideration the donors wishes as to the ultimate recipients of their donations. Nonetheless, as it is a gift to a donor advised outreach fund, the donor grants the Church the unilateral right to determine the ultimate beneficiaries, consistent with the outreach mission purposes of the Church.
It is our understanding that donations to the Church for the DAOF are tax deductible. However, donors should always check with their own financial advisors.
The Church of the Resurrection is a parish in the Diocese of New York of the Episcopal Church.

The trial is set for November 21-December 2. I will, of course, be there. I thank you all for your support.
Sincerely,
Heidi
Dear FReepers and FRiends, the last ping was at post #1851. Please read forward. Thank you.
Please note, while reading the spin (in my opinion) in post #1883, for those of us who have followed ALL the threads, it is good to keep in mind Ted's words, "What I do, I do for the safety of my family." And, to recall, that the Monaco press can not write against the Monaco government (that info source is posted on one of these threads somewhere.) That's my opinion.
Monaco: Let Ted come home to his family!
