MY PERSONAL OPINION:

As FBI inspector for the FBI’s OKC Bomb Task force and based on his interview with Partin, Defenbaugh may have participated in an FBI cover-up of the methods used in bombing the Murrah Building. It is believed that Defenbaugh’s FBI agents covered up alleged government foreknowledge and sting operations leading up to the OKC bombing, threatened and improperly discounted John Doe witnesses, and deliberately lied about, falsified, withheld and suppressed evidence material to the OKC bombing case.

Defenbaugh and some his fellow FBI agents in my opinion are guilty of criminal negligence and criminal obstruction of justice. Their continued misrepresentations and denials have convinced me that Defenbaugh and some in the FBI are still more interested in protecting themselves than US citizens from terrorist attacks. Congress should investigate the FBI and remove Defenbaugh and other culpable FBI agents from the FBI and have them prosecuted for any crimes they may have committed in the OKC bombing case.

If Defenbaugh and FBI should claim that fully investigating him and the FBI on these matters under oath in Congress would undermine Federal law enforcement, I hope the public and Congress will realize that not addressing and resolving the questions adequately will in fact further undermine the public’s lack of trust in the FBI and Federal law enforcement in their ability to protect innocent Americans from further terror attacks and further loss of freedoms.

Of course, there sadly is always the prospect the Congress (because of cowardice and being compromised by accepting FBI failed policies) will do nothing adequate or that a special investigator like Danforth will be appointed to white wash the whole mishandling of the OKC case by the FBI and the Federal government. It is very difficult to get the Federal government to do a good job of investigating the Federal government.

It is not likely that the Senate Judiciary will do the things necessary in their hearing this Thursday to fully investigate and clean up the FBI and DOJ and hold FBI agents and FBI officials like Danny Defenbaugh accountable (prison, loss of pension, etc). This will lead to even greater tragedies from future terror attacks since the FBI has still not changed the failed FBI policy of letting known Middle Eastern terrorists into the US and follow them around for years without arresting or deporting them before the FBI loses track of them and they set up more terror cells and commit more terror acts.

OK, you just keep coming through. Who should we call/write/fax about the upcoming hearing, or what else do you suggest?

Great work! They may have covered it up, but "we" know the truth, don't we.

Excellent post! I fully agree that the Senate will not do an adequate job of correcting these illegal law enforcement practices in the FBI. I do not know if they are afraid for themselves or what their problems are about protecting America. It's a shame the Chief of Police in Dallas didn't charge them with commition of criminal acts and prosecute them.

Clearly the first priority for the Department of Justice and the FBI should be to restore the perception that they are a professional law enforcement agency that has as their first concern the protection of our nation then the enforcement of its laws. This is not done by covering up any potential misconduct. The attacks of September 11, 2001 should have made this abundantly clear to anyone who has not been following the tales of the Fumbling Bumbling Idiots.

Those agents who engage in criminal acts do more harm to this nation than a million terrorists could ever contemplate. During the years of the Clinton administrationpromotions in the FBI seem to have gone to those who were policically aligned with the Clinton administration. A pervasive atmosphere of the FBI versus everyone else seems to have developed and permeated many if not most of the field offices.

The revalations in this post are very much a cause for the gravest concern but when combined with all the other revalations about FBI abuses including the Bulger/Flemmeni case, the recent Baltimore shooting of an innocent twenty year old, the promotion of agents involved in the Ruby Ridge fiasco (the shooting did occur during George H W Bush's presidency), the Robert Hansen debacle, the Wen Ho Lee farece, the Flight 800 investigation, and many other scandals it goes from being a grave concern to being a clear and present danger to the continued existence of the USA.

Stay well - Stay safe - Stay armed - Yorktown

And today we have former CIA counter terrorism official Larry Johnson stating that their was an Iraqi connection to the OKC bombing and that Ali Mohammed was in fact a double agent working for the FBI and Bin Laden and ALQaeda at the same time.

So that's where Larry Klayman is getting his information that Iraq was involved in the OKC bombing.
