Gee, sounds like Japan these days, too.

women have been partially freed from the... Partially?
The ones that choose to embrace the "new" liberation go for the whole enchilada.
Of course it's always been that way, the only difference now is that it's "value-neutral".
Words like "whores" and "bastards" are now hate speech though, so watch it!!

The chant of Gen. Y college babes might as well be Were here, were whores, get used to it! No, most girls are not actually uttering those words, but the slutty sentiments are implicit in the standard female college behavior wearing tight shirts and pants, getting publicly drunk, hanging on every guy around, and engaging in random sex This 26 year old male agrees. It used to be that men were pigs and woman were more moral. Now women choose to act like men, including getting plastered and "hooking up" with men they don't know. Of course, the parents don't care, it wouldn't be "enlightened" of them.

The concept of behaving like a lady is an anachronism. If a college girl acts like a lady, she is considered boring, prudish, and old-fashioned. Why is this happening? Five important explanations come to mind.
NO WAY! I love it when women are normal. All the 60s hype is for the lost. Real Women don't 'put on'. They are wives and mothers and the foundation of the home. Who can replace them? No one.
The ultimate couple: A man and woman who work well together to make decisions and give in to each others wishes. Rarely, but there are times when the husband has to make decisions that are unpopular, but thats rare, and the price we pay for being men. This couple recognizes the role of God in their lives.
Families that don't work: mr. mom, and other role reversals.

EXCELLENT ARTICLE!! This came from Cornell did it? Shocked and suprised
Can the moral high ground ever be reclaimed? Perhaps
one church pew at a time.
So true, don't tell the liberals that though. They'd have a fit

Expect to be mercilessly attacked on this one. Responsibility for one's personal behavior has been neutralized. The lawyers have seen to this.

It's all part of the attitude that women are supposed to be "in control."

Today's young man looking for a date has to look far and wide to find a companion who has not had multiple sexual partners. Virginity is a vice in today's world.

"Women have devalued sex." True, but men were willing accessories. Why should it only be women who have to be virgins when they are married? What happened to a man saying, "I don't want to yet"?
But I agree, if sex is just more "fun," it becomes no different than having a beer.

Yes the pill did wonders didn't it? 40 odd years later and 40 million aborted babies later we are having one hell of a fine
SEXUAL REVOLUTION.....more like Paradise Lost.
As for women's "rights" to be sluts. They'll be sluts when it suits them and turn right around and be "victims" when the need fits.
I watched Vivian Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara for the 100th time the other day on TNT.....boy howdy...some things just stay the same....
