Not only was Rusty Yates with 4 family members in New York with Katie on Monday morning, he was with Larry King Live Monday night. Who's picking up the tab for him to fly all over the country, like a celebrity? He's being interviewed ever so gently, and the man seems to be lapping it up. He's promoting himself. Book deal? of course!!
I couldn't believe it when he told Larry King, yes, he would always support Andrea, but "the purpose of marriage is companionship and to bear children and with both those things gone"... Chills, he gave me chills. It's obscene to me that Rusty Yates is now in the self-promotional business of spinning.
If there is any serious consideration of appealing the verdict, I missed it.

Blame God...blame the woman. It is an old game which has been played many times. God killed Eli for being a milksop. This guy will probably fare no better.
Ge 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
If perchance he is representative of the new American male, God will surely say: Jer 5:9 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

You'll notice she didn't advocate sterilizing Andre Yates, the real murderer.
I bet women start leaving this husbands to get a shot at this "man". He'll have plenty of offers.

After watching Mr. Yates, all I can say is thank GOD I married a good a decent man, who not only helps out around the house - but has always helped out with his children!

Do Couric and King think they are doing this guy a favor by airing him. Over 90% of the people will think he is a babbling fool after seeing him. I saw parts of LK Live and even the screened calls were unfavorable although polite.

This is YOUR LEGACY Bill Clinton. Happy now? Your abusive attitude towards women while you were servicing yourself in the peoples' White House has come home to roost. You, Bill Clinton, and Russell Yates are, in my opinion, one in the same. Egotistical, manipulative and controlling.

If this POS has the time to do the talk show circuit, it seems to me he should have found the time to stay home and care for his wife and children. This tragedy would never occurred had he accepted his responsibility as a husband and father.

"You'd think that with his five children dead, Yates would be agonizing over what he could have done differently. Wrong." This is what bothered me the most in his interview with Katie. I know that in any trauma I have gone through or my family or friends have gone through there has always been the "if only" questions.
When my best friends son died she was in constant misery saying "if only she had not let him go with his friends, If only she had done this or that."
This makes me question just what his involvement might have been. Did he set her up? Did he think it was a solution for his problems? Did he want his freedom from a crazy wife and all those kids he didn't want to have to take care of? He couldn't leave her and the kids without being the bad guy. He couldn't leave her and take the kids because he might have to change a diaper. What is a guy to do in a situation like that?
I think there is a lot more to this story that may come out if Andrea does get treatment and regains her sanity.

Is it possible that this disgusting piece of garbage could be charged with "depraved indifference" or something similar. He knew full well there was a problem and did nothing.
While I have no real sympathy for Andrea Yates, I have even less for this pinhead.
I hope Hitler, Stalin, OJ, and John and Patsy Ramsey reserve a seat for this horses behind in hell

I saw Russell Yates on Larry King, he kept saying ".....before my children passed away." or "......after my children passed away."
I wanted to jump in the studio and shake him and say "You moron, your children did not pass away . they were murdered, because your wife is a murdering psycho hosebeast and you are an idiot that did nothing and ignored the signs." This guy should not be allowed to start another family. He needs to be neutered.
