I still think there are criminal charges waiting in the wings for Mr. Russell Yates, and I hope there are for the others involved in this. As for the doctor who would not give her the medicine she needed, often times doctors will NOT give medicine UNLESS the patient is willing to also go through therapy. Why should they? If they are just taking medicine, and this doctor is just giving her the medicine without telling her she needs HELP (which she did), he was doing his job. I have a panic disorder...I have to go and see my doctor every six months for a recheck before I am allowed to get a refill of my medicine. I am not ashamed to tell anyone this information, I am sharing it because there ARE doctors out there who insist that you get HELP for your condition and won't keep just "giving out" prescriptions unless you are willing to do your part. In my case, we have done various methods of therapy. It's just a part of my physical makeup. I can't help it; I have read and learned about it, but I still have to take the medicine. That's part of life. It also means that I can't drink alcohol. So, if I drank alcohol and took the drugs, and did something stupid or I had a severe reaction to it, whose fault is that? MINE. The doctor told them NOT TO HAVE ANYMORE CHILDREN. They did.
Unfortunately, they children paid the highest price...with their lives. And I think that those around them who knew this was happening, especially Russell Yates, should be held responsible for their deaths.
