Excuse me, but Andrea's father died of Alzheimer's and her mother thought nothing of Andrea coming over to take care of the man during his illness. If she was so concerned about Andrea being overburdened with her children she would NEVER have asked her to come help with an Alzheimer's patient.

These people are all about as selfish as can be and the truth is that Andrea never learned to JUST SAY NO!

Yes, you're right about the dad's illness, my mistake and apologies.

I didn't know the mother made Andrea care for the father ---that is incredibly selfish to expect an insane woman with young children to also do that.

From your post, OldFriend ..."the truth is that Andrea never learned to JUST SAY NO!"

I totally agree that's the case, and if we delve no deeper than two people, Andrea and Rusty, and one wedding day ... their pathway in life is monstrously disastrous. She finally did say "No!" ... five times over. There's enough blame here for everyone, and enough sorrow for an entire nation.
