Rush is libertarian and that is as close as it comes to being conservative. No belief in organized religion in that band at all not to mention the total disgust over guns.

Scott Stapp did grow up in a very strict religious home and yes, he did leave. When his mom remarried, she remarried a devout Penecostal and rumor is that Stapp has a very good relationship with his step-father and goes to church with his family when at home visiting.
I think that Stapp is a Christian, but his walk with Christ is not smooth sailing. That is evident in his music, but the belief is still there. For some people, hiding their spiritual struggles is easy, for Stapp, it is not, because he seems like a very deep and emotional character.

He dad gum sure is. Ozzy rules! My mind has drawn a complete blank and I cant think of anyone but Creed right now. LOL I just wish he hadn't relieved himself on the Alamo. What a stupid thing to do. LOL He has redeemed himself in his old age, although I can't understand a thing he says, every time I hear him talk.

I have to agree, they pretty much stopped rockin' after the live album, but they do have some early releases that reflect what we are talking about.

I wouldn't know why they deleted it.

They've replaced the guitarist that left and are still functional, but haven't heard anything new and exiting yet. I think Iron Maiden has some pretty conservative songs.

I wouldn't label Guns N Roses as conservative. But their song "One in a million" appeals to many.
Not all of us agree what is a conservative. I don't consider, for example, environment & pro-life as either conservative or liberal issues.

Oh, Sammy Hagar also is as conservative as they come... >>>>
I have no idea where you picked this up.Sammy is Anti-War...very pacifist style of thinking. Hates guns, hates the death penalty, a pro-choice man although he loves his family and kids like nothing else. He has the attitude and beliefs that of which are defined under more of a socialist style than conservative. I would ask you to provide me evidence of it otherwise because I have the proof to back up what I have said. His belief is whatever doesn't hurt anyone is fine with me.

Creed has become one of my favorites. Good sound and lyrics.

I interviewed Geoff Tate one night on their Q2K tour and he had a tremendous amount of things to talk about as far as family and violence. He was a bullshit artist at first. It was obvious to me he thought I was just interested in talking about right wing politics so he would feed the agenda quota with me and that doesn't work with me in an interview. I would label him as a 2nd rate Bono wannabe...he really took on alot of what Bono talks about.

Rage against the Machine.
LOL
