He also said he doesn't know whether he will remain married to Andrea or how often he will visit her in prison. He said he misses the companionship of a wife and may like to have more children.

As a Texan, I am sorry that they don't fry them both.

As a Texan, I view this man as our version of O. J. Simpson. He is responsible. As any husband and father knows, he is responsible to see to the health of his wife and the safety of his children. Those responsiblities come before any of his own needs or desires. He failed, and may have been complicit in his wife's act.
Regardless of what our legal system may say, the man is morally responsible for the tragedy.

Your post# 17. The way I understood it, she is eligible for Parole after 40 years, but it is not guaranteed that she will get it, so she could spend much longer in prison and never get out

The man is disgusting. The graves of his children have hardly sprouted daisies - and he has visions of morphing into "Disco Stu" at the nearest Holiday Inn.

What a charmer! On the day his wife gets sentenced to life in prison, he goes before TV cameras & says he the companionship of a wife & wants more children. How sensitive, caring and sharing! Why, I just can't wait to sidle up Rusty at a singles mixer & ask if he'd like to go out.

Now he can take all that insurance money and cruise the mental hospitals looking for a new wife.
To: Alissa
His future should be in the cell next to his wife, if true justice were to be served.

Are you single? After he sues everyone he's gonna' be rich and he's available, you know.
To: Alissa
Someone put this human failure out of his misery then.

After he sues everyone he's gonna' be rich and he's available, you know. That could be poetic justice! He'd marry someone who is after his money and make his life miserable!

According to a caller on KRPC yesterday he already has a lover. Has had for some time. This caller alledgedly knows the woman. My tim foil hat tells me he brainwashed Andrea and ordered her to kill the kids. He was hoping she'd get the death penalty so his secret would die, too. Now he wants to make sure everyone knows she's crazy so if she ever does talk she'll be discredited. Hey, it could be!

Sounds like a control freak. To the extent of ignoring the psychiatrist warnings, he still continued to keep her pregnant. I agree he's as much to blame as if he helped her drown the children. Never appeared to show any remorse that the kids were gone. He seemed only concerned with getting his wife back.

Well there is a glimpse into what a thoughtful husband and father he was. It's all about you, isn't it, Russell? Please, God, let them figure out some way to put him prison as well. He sure won't get lonely there.
To: Terry Mross
This just gets weirder every day.
I wouldn't discount any possibility at this point.

Hi. I live in Houston and we are saturated by news coverage of everything Russell Yates says.
I did not hear him say this. Can you provide your sources, please? Not that I doubt you; I'd like to see his remarks in context.
