She continued that charade on the witness stand, claiming she didn't know his name--all the while calling him "Dave," indicating a greater degree of familiarity. (And remember, she sold him cookies: she had to have had a name for that.)

Sounds like that evening Brenda wanted "swing" with another woman. Maybe she told Dave he could join the party...but not in the way Westerfield wanted to, if you get my drift. Westerfield may have turned the whole thing down. He wasn't there, and most people are assuming he wasn't invited, but was he?

I may be going out on a limb here, but it would be fair to hear what the accused and already convicted David Westerfield has to say about that evening. (sarcasm mode off).

From her testimony, it seemed that when she "met" him while selling GS cookies and then discovered his penchant for adult activities, she immediately called DVD (from W's house?) to express her surprise at the coincidence. "You'll never believe this, but DAVE likes to have adult parties, too." Why would she call him Dave to her husband, with him knowing exactly to whom she was referring, if that was the first time she had found out his name? Doesn't wash.
