Guess you need to read some history on the calvanist movement. :) John Calvin was an evil man who ruled his people much like saddam hussein. I think it was he who pioneered having children spy on their parents and turning them in for breaking the "law" etc. Granted, his writings helped spawn many movements that had beneficial effects on the religious climate. He was not a nice person. And Pre-destination is a tad elitist dontcha think.
