Another shark attack on a Florida beach the other day, due to the senseless "protection" of these predators, no doubt.

Midway, the site of one of the greatest battles of WW II, was effectively closed to humans by the Fish and Wildife service, who put a fence around the beach to protect what may be an occasional seal from the public, and effectively bankrupted a US firm they contracted with to set up a resort there.

Hey, who needs people? Lower life forms shall inherit the earth.

Look at shark attack numbers for the past few years. You'll see there has actually been fewer not more. Shark attacks were just the media's pet story prior to 9-11.
