article on this in the online Denver Post (3/13/02) says the team is "ironing out copyright issues." Looks like they might have a lot of ironing ahead of them. Here's an
online war games page with a team called (you guessed it!) the "Whities" (USMC). Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a
copyright notice -- a real one.

When I saw what it says on the back, I wouldn't order it. I wrote them that I'm not offended by "racial" mascots, white or otherwise, but the whining on the back killed the sale. Also, was the name always "Whites" or was it changed from "Whities"? Fighting Whities is a mascot. Fighting Whites is all they are consumed with. I pity them.
