Never again.
To me, there's more distraction in the theatre:
People talking to each other as if they're sitting in their living rooms at home, (often loudly telling each other what is going to happen next in the movie.)
Babies crying and kids running up and down the aisles (even in R rated pictures where kids are not supposed to be.)
Cell phones going off.
Not to mention the sticky floors, the person behind you continually kicking your seat, etc. Going to the movies used to be a special event, and people behaved. Now there's just too much rudeness. It's a rare and special movie I'll pay $7.50 for and put up with all of this.
Like, oh my god! Like, movies in the Valley still cost $7.50! Gag me with a spoon! Ew, I must go to the Galleria more often!
(BTW: I have never been to your home of the San Fernando Valley, so my impressions are merely formed from cinematic classics of the 80s)
Anybody planning to see Mel Gibson's latest, "We Were Soldiers," you better see it in a theater. It's not going to be the same on video. And it's an incredibly good movie.
