GLAAD media honcho Cathy Renna -- in a 1999 speech not intended for the public -- said that its members should pressure news agencies not to give "the other side," saying that it would be the equivalent of asking the Nazis or the KKK about the Holocaust. "We are the mainstream," she said in a transcript of that speech at a Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network-sponsored conference.

For the record, The quote wasn't about the Holocaust, it was about Hanukkah, and that comment wasn't made BY Renna, it was made by a conference attendee in agreement with her point that pressure should be applied to those who cover their agenda and the controversies about it. This strategy was integral in their persecution of Dr. Laura Schlessinger.

Do you or anyone reading have a link to Rosie's interview with Diane Sawyer? Last week's Washington Times Weekly (April 22-28, 2002) has a short item beginning:

"He's a six-year-old boy. He says 'I want to have a daddy'. I said , 'I can imagine. That would be great.'".

And it ends with

"I heard him talking, playing one day, and [the friend asked]. 'You've got two moms?' And Parker goes , 'Yeah, isn't that weird?'"
