Did you see the scratches on westerfields arms? See this thread...they look like miniature fingernail marks..(ps, don't interpret this as a flame though!)

I don't think that they look like fingernail marks at all - they are too round for one (almost circular - not the normal half-moon shape that one would expect) and there are 6 distinct marks - did the little girl have 6 fingers?

Those marks are semicircular dots. I was thinking that maybe he was grabbed with fingernails. But, the angle is all wrong. Think about it...

Fingernails, that's it. I was thinking teeth, but it could be fingernails. Anyway, they were described as a scratch, so it is probably fingernail marks.

Yep, I checked and there are four punctures, maybe five, the picture wasn't clear enough to tell if there was a mark where the thumb might have been.
