Fred Thompson already endorsed Lamar Alexander yesterday. Thompson was in fact, instrumental in motivating Alexander to throw his hat into the race.

This is a race that will divide the Republicans during the primary race. Howeverr, no matter who wins, we will need all Republicans to unite and make sure we hold this seat. We can not afford to let our pride stand in the way of keeping the liberals from digging in and gaining a stronger foothold in Congress.

I kind of like Lamar who had pretty good ideas on Education, as he better have since he had been Secy of Education.

Are you sure? I heard that, officially at least, Thompson was staying out of it.
