Nothing to do with getting caught......it's always getting away with all the bad things he does. What a sad wasted life.

I guess this means he's only eligible to play for Steinbrenner's team.

That relief pitcher the Yankees had once, who was also with the Dodgers, Howe, I think his name was. I believe he had 7 incidents with cocaine. That was Steve Howe

What a sad waste of a life...
Yeah it is but no sadder than an alcoholics
Why don't they just leave this guy and all the other drug/alcohol addicts users alone unless they are driving etc and use the $$$ and manpower to get rid of all the illegal aliens in this country

Joe Papy, who is in charge of Strawberry's probation, said that the former ballplayer had broken an undisclosed house rule. "It was not drug-related,'' Papy said this afternoon. Nor did Strawberry leave the facility, he said.
I'd withhold judgement until we hear more. Some of these "drug counseler" types can be as self-importantly asinine as any "diversity trainer".
He may have snapped and told one of them what a walking talking hemmorhoid he is. In which case, dumb....but in a way...good for him. >:)

Strawberry should have been jailed years ago.
Yeah that makes real sense. Guy is molesting kids, robbing banks, etc.
Just what he needs. Jail time and sexual assault. That will teach him not to molest your kids or break into your home

He's dying and has nothing to live for I just say lock him up in a mental ward.
He'll end up hurting someone or killing someone if he isn't locked up. Drug addicted psychotics with nothing to live for are dangerous.

Dope, Alcohol an addiction so overpowering that money, doctors, jails, love, pleading, churches, disgrace or humiliation cannot overcome. Only the GRACE OF GOD can release him from destruction.

I wonder if his rehab program was anything like the movie "28-Days" with Sandra Bullock?? If so, I can understand how he could have told someone to stuff it.

This isn't breaking news, do we have a category for 'Continuing Sagas'?

Maybe it's an "annual thing" now, ya know. Happens every year, why not make it a tradition. Maybe the police acadamy has an annual drawing to see which recruit gets to bring in Strawberry?

Transgressed the unwritten law?
Interviewer: I've been told Dinsdale Piranha nailed your head to the floor.
Stig: No. Never. He was a smashing bloke. He used to buy his mother flowers and that. He was like a brother to me.
Interviewer: But the police have film of Dinsdale actually nailing your head to the floor.
Stig: (pause) Oh yeah, he did that.
Interviewer: Why?
Stig: Well he had to, didn't he? I mean there was nothing else he could do, be fair. I had transgressed the unwritten law.
Interviewer: What had you done?
Stig: Er... well he didn't tell me that, but he gave me his word that it was the case, and that's good enough for me with old Dinsy. I mean, he didn't *want* to nail my head to the floor. I had to insist. He wanted to let me off. He'd do anything for you, Dinsdale would.

I say once someone has terminal cancer they should be able to "do" all the drugs they want to.
