Volume One, Breath of Fire, continues to be sold and marketed in the hopes some large publication house will pick it up.

I can't imagine why this hasn't already happened. I picked up the series -- up to volume 3 -- from Amazon.com. It's awesome. If major publishing houses are looking for writers with a successful sales record, haven't you provided them with one?

I look forward to future updates, And since I just stumbled onto this thread, if you could put me on your ping list, I'd be grateful.

Consider it done (adding to BUMP list).

As to the publication thing...unless it REALLY takes off, because of the non-PC nature, because it was self-published (the major publishers apparently view self-publication very dimly) and because I simply do not have the contacts...it seems unlikely that one will pick it up.

But...if somehow I can get wide enough attention and have the sales really take off...then that becomes a different matter. When they see there is a ton of denaro to be made, they will act....like they ultimately did on the Left Behind Series.

In the mean time...I am thrilled with the readership it has developed on its own, word of mouth.

The final volume in the series, Volume V, Eagle's Talons, is progressing nicely. Targeting July for release.

I think last year's SoCal fires are only a small taste of what's to come.

I fear you may be right...and that's exactly one of the reasons I have written The Dragon's Fury Series, in the hopes of sounding a warning and getting folks to think.

I hope so, but I think the enemy's next shots are loaded and ready to be fired soon.

Hopefully, like what occurred in Ohio this last week, we can either interdict them or get them to misfire.
