Please re-read my post, I was disagreeing with Georges post (the first line was cut and pasted from his post), my comment about language was only about if they used it on regular programing, I have no problem with the language used last night during this documentary...

re: editing a documentary. I agree, the ethics of taking out the carnage are sketchy at best. This cannot be said to be an honest documentary, more like mainstream entertainment that mimics a documentary. I believe that CBS admitted as much. The most trauma this thing shows is a fireman with a bloody nose, this at the same time there were hundreds of bad injuries and splattering bodies. I just read a first hand account from a NYFD on scene, that there were not "dozens" of jumpers, there were "hundreds".
As emotional as this special is, it's still edited and dressed up for network viewers.
Note to CBS: don't baby me. I can take it. Does anyone watching an inside documentary of this atrocity really believe they'll not be subjected to "disturbing" images.... that's essentially WHY they tuned in.

Are they going to rebroadcast or make a video you can buy? I missed the show.

Ping. I thought that you might want to read the comments on this thread after you return from your trip to New York and Ground Zero.

Just FYI, Steve Buscemi was a NYC figherfighter, and a few days after the attacks, he went back to his old station and volunteered with his former co-workers. He didn't mention it last night, and he didn't publisize it. I think that's pretty darn noble of him.

I think CBS has the rights to show the documentary one more time.

If you find the show scheduled again or a video for sale, would you put me on that ping list? I searched the CBS site and found no info on either a re-broadcast or a video.
