I don't think he's in any real trouble, but because he is so visible, the Dems always make a big deal of opposing him. They have tried bringing in carpetbaggers before to unseat him - a friend of Algore's tried twice to unseat him and did make it a close race. Another guy threw his hat into the ring this week against Hayworth, Craig Columbus a CNBC commentator, I linked that article above.

What are Hayworth's numbers like? He's not at any serious risk, is he? According to data from the redistricting commission's Web site, Republicans have a 48% to 30% voter registration edge in the new Congressional district 5. You wouldn't think Hayworth would have any trouble; his old district 6 is much closer, I believe.
