When people confront Christ and His claims about Himself in the Bible, they decide what they will do with Him

For example: Protestants believe what to do with Him is go directly to Him in prayer to find guidance. Catholics need an intermdeiary in the form of a priest. Both are Christian religeons and you won't gain affermation from one for the other. Do you believe in both concepts? They come from the same book that is clearly understood by serious seekers. One misunderstood somehow. Is the Catholic or the Protestant the serious seeker that clearly understands?
I fulfill my spiritual goals by reading my entire scripture every day and meditating an hour a day and following the good that I and every person has inside of them, not placed there by accidental evolution. I believe that trying to understand an Infinate with a finite mind is like trying to hold the ocean in a teacup. Hope you have lots of teacups.

Well actually the bible teaches that all believers are priests and have access to God, through Jesus. That's why we pray only to God the father, through His son, Jesus Christ. The Church of Rome follows its own interpretations for its own reasons and is a fine example of a big golden cow. I personally have no need of a priest, but I like to talk to some ministers now and again, so if the priest brings comfort to some people, and actually teaches what Jesus taught and preaches the Word, what can you do? It's when priests and ministers get into their own agendas when they betray the faith and the people who trust them and that's why we should pray for them often.
