Humiliated Daschle Backs Bush

Reviled and utterly humiliated after carping during wartime about President Bush's campaign against terrorism, Senate plurality leader Tom Daschle has done a complete turnabout and today pushed a pro-Bush resolution through the Senate.

The upper chamber unanimously approved a nonbinding resolution saying it "reaffirms that it stands united with the president in the ongoing effort to defeat terrorism."

Scrambling to contain the damage to his White House ambitions, the South Dakota Democrat said the resolution "makes absolutely clear at this six-month juncture to al-Qaeda terrorists and to all of those who wish to take note that we will not stop until they have been defeated."

The resolution offers condolences to families of the slain U.S. troops and says "the first priority of the Congress is to provide our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines with the necessary resources and tools required for victory."

What a novel idea. Better late than never.

Democrat/Liberal vermin would stop at nothing, sink to any depth--for power. Remember how readily and wholeheartedly they jumped into the depths of the sewer during the last administration. They were at home there.

He's a politician. He is legally allowed to say anything, even lie. Of course since he is a politician, the people can say anythying they want about him. Works both ways. He doesn't care about the war or anything else but his political career.

compare him to Bush

Compare and contrast as they say in English Lit. Night versus Day. Fresh flower-scented breezes of Spring versus frozen choking swirling vacuum of outer space. Florence Nightingale versus Chante Mallard the highway terrorist.

How am I doing?

I don't think the armed services would take four feet six inch D'asshole.

Unless they're looking for rodents.

Actually, his bio indicates he spent 3 years as an intelligence officer in the USAF.

Isn't "Military Intelligence" the ultimate oxymoron?

Of course since he is a politician, the people can say anythying they want about him.

Except 30 days before a primary and 60 days before a general election... IF they have their way, that is...
