My wife is the head RN for a family practice group. Whenever a new doctor or employee comes to work, she warns about the whacko patients during the full moon. They just snicker.
Then, after the attack of Full Moon Whackos during a couple of full moons, they become believers.
I have a friend who is retired cop. When he first became a cop, he loved to go out and confront bad guys and whackos to arrest them. He begged to be on duty at night or at least during the daytime during full moons. Later, as he was older and wiser. He would schedule himself to be off 2 days before a full moon, during the full moon and 2 days afterwards. His chief never caught on until my friend retired.
