I think the entire campaign was conducted in a gracious, funny and very effective manner. My heart and deep thanks go out to all those involved.

This is a wonderful place. Think about how many people have used FR as a jumping off spot to make a difference in their communities - Freeper efforts in Florida when AlGore was trying to hijack the election; the DC chapter's constant freeping of the VP's house and the White House under Clinton; the Modesto Freepers successful efforts to showcase Condit for the creep he is. How about what Hillary's Lovely Legs and the rest of the folks at "The Guild" have done with their efforts in support of our service people in Operation Enduring Freedom? And that's just a minute sampling.

One man, with a handful of supporters, got this wonderful dream off the ground. We all benefit from that, and we all can play a part in its continued success. That's no small thing.

That is one of my favorite posters. Both for the thats not my job attitude and then my sick humor.

I have been using that to depict Billy Krystol. On election night my wife said that he reminded her of a foul snarling and hissing possum. So I found the picture and posted it whenever someone who post one of his inane war suggestions essays. Miss Marple and I have had this ongoing labeling of him as a snarling hissing possum for a long time.

Then I like to use it to depict those who snarl at us or GW as we try to do our jobs. Not smart to stand in the middle of a road and snarl at Express Buses!

Sean Hannity just talked about this the DC chapter's constant freeping of the VP's house

Sean like me felt that was a real turning point when you have repubies/conservatives outside of Goron's house chanting for him to get out of Cheney's home!

That was when I got involved in/with Free Republic post election. I saw them on Fox News and thought it was great. Then, I came here and found out that those brave souls were our DC Freepers. It made me more enthused about my email list that I was sending out stuff daily to get people involved. That action impressed many people! Later when they picketed the ChiCom embassy when our plane was forced down, that embarassed the ChiComs and scared them even in Peking!

Joe, great job in counting the donations and keeping us appraised and showing some disrupting clymers, the door and the way out!

You and I would make good bouncers for a conservative convention/meeting!

Pete, we could use your 5 "studs" as carpet bomb material during the next freepathon! A few hits with those guys might encourage a lot of people to break out the plastic and make a pledge.

Yes Dave we would.

I usually can take most anything in stride, but when anybody picks on the fundraising team fire and smoke comes out of every hole in my head. : )

Besides the incredible bad manners of picking on volunteers in a fund raiser, I see a more sinister side with some.

They act like they are trying to debate (poor timing and total lack of sensitivity during a fund raiser) issues. I see them as professional disruptors trying to slow down and side track the process. There is no room for that tactic during a fund raiser like the clown with bad four letter word in his name spelled backwards!

It was a fantastic trip! A lot of money was raised, and you have a great team of volunteers! We had a lot of fun doing it!

Great job by all!

There is really no organized effort to the fundraisers. We don't sit in a bar, sip margaritas and plan ahead; might be nice though. Badjoe and Willa know approximately when the next fundraisers are scheduled a week or so in advance. I just keep my eyes open starting around the time I think the next one might happen. Next one probably is the end of May early June. Sometimes I might catch something on a thread saying, 'the fundraiser is starting Friday'. You can also freep mail Badjoe or Willa near the time you think the next fundraiser should start and ask if they have a date set. If you're here just jump in! That's how I operate. The usual suspects show up, but we get additional people everytime. AFVetGal, thanks for everything. You are a great addition! We can never have enough help.

That was a horrible incident. It really paints a picture of just how far the liberal thugs will go.

Isn't that the beauty of Free Republic? You can meet other California Freepers, organize and do something to halt the take over!
