In answer to the unasked question, what is an Ian Klaus? I've dug up some background. Apparently Ian, a bona fide Rhodes Scholar from Washington U in St. Louis, has many actual academic accomplishments to his credit including, but not limited to, a written work on Vietnam and another on South African racial relations and homophobia.

Who could give him more help on that than Chelsea's dad? I ask you? No matter what a D-O-G Ms. Clinton is, she's an ideal partner for young and apparently politically ambitious Ian, who already has his face plastered across the international press, such as it is. His history reveals him to be an embrionic liberal politician.

Ms.Clinton will never know and always wonder who her real friends are, if any. Do they really care about her? Or just about the F-A-M-E that rubs off on them from simply sharing the kennel runs with her. It would seem to fit the family pattern for her to be the one whose coattails the ambitious and amoral cling to on the way up into high altitude politics. Desperate acts create desperate karma.

Many men who do not have one or all of these characteristics define themselves as bears, making the term a very loose one. Suffice it to say, "bear" is often defined as more of an attitude than anything else - a sense of comfort with our natural masculinity and bodies that is not slavish to the vogues of male attractiveness that is so common in gay circles and the culture at large.
