Looks like Chelsea Clinton has inherited her father's lust gene. The former First Daughter's dirty dancing with boyfriend Ian Klaus even raised Italian eyebrows at the party Donatella Versace threw after her fashion show in Milan this week.

Showing the kind of burlesque artistry that would earn major tips here at Scores, Chelsea slid Klaus' tie around her neck — and his — and then ground against him, according to Women's Wear Daily.

Chelsea, tricked out in a black fishnet top and tight black trousers, is said to have led Klaus around the VIP dance floor while bodyguards huddled in a corner nearby. This was at 2:30 a.m.

At a recent premiere in London, Chelsea declared that Oxford classmate Klaus makes her "incredibly happy. He's the nicest guy ever. He makes me laugh all the time."

"The press is still all over me in London," she said in Milan, "but on the Continent I can do what I want." Yeah, baby!

We hear design dominatrix Donatella invited Chelsea and her beau to stay at the Versace manse on Lake Como. Clinton spokesmen couldn't confirm yesterday whether or not they accepted the invitation.

Now that Tatler magazine has ranked Chelsea fifth on its list of Britain's most eligible women, reporters are tracking her every trip down from Oxford. The dons there may also be counting her holidays.

An Oxford spokesman told the Telegraph that she's obliged to be in residence at her dad's alma mater for "at least" six of the 11 weeks of this term.

P.S. Her dad — who, like Chelsea, attended Oxford's University College — must be thrilled that Kenneth Starr just released a priceless photo of the ex-President with Monica Lewinsky, back in her White House intern days. Around her neck dangles a security badge bearing the letter "A."

CHELSEA PRAISES 'WONDERFUL' OXFORD The Mail and Telegraph are delighted to report that Chelsea Clinton is "settling down at Oxford" thanks to a liaison with another US student, Ian Klaus. The two have been observed consorting intimately in the city, and Miss Clinton confided to the New York Post: "Oxford is wonderful. I'm having a great time. We do go out, but I try to spend most of my time studying in the library." Mr Klaus, who is also a Rhodes scholar, has already been introduced to her parents, the Mail reports approvingly.

They have been seen kissing and giggling in bars and, according to their friends, have become inseparable in recent weeks. Miss Clinton, 22, has acknowledged the relationship, but said she was not allowing it to distract her from her studies in international relations.

Andrew Scurry, secretary of the college football team for which Mr Klaus also plays, said the couple first started dating in November and have since become inseparable.

"Klaus comes out and has a drink with the boys after a game," said one member of the team, "but recently, his main priority has been spending time with Chelsea."

Rumours about the couple have spread throughout the university in recent months after they were spotted sharing romantic dinners and attending concerts together. Their favourite restaurant is said to be Quad, a trendy place in central Oxford.

Last week, diners there said they had seen the pair kissing on one of the restaurant's sofas. Mr Klaus, who has been showered with awards and scholarships in an already distinguished academic career, appears to have won the approval of Miss Clinton's parents.

In December, Mr Klaus was seen with the Clintons at a Venetian Red Cross charity ball in London where the young couple were seen dancing together. Like Miss Clinton, who is studying international relations, Mr Klaus is spending two years at the university as a postgraduate student.

While at Stanford University, Miss Clinton was linked with a number of men, including two members of the swimming team.

A Rhodes Scholar, former varsity soccer co-captain, friend of the St. Louis community, and award-winning writer, Klaus graduated in May 2001 with majors in history and an interdisciplinary program called literature and history, both in Arts & Sciences. His senior honors paper presented the ambitious thesis that ever since World War II, America's cultural identity has been tied to warfare and fictional portrayals of warfare, such as Tim O'Brien's memoir and novels on the Vietnam War. Now at Oxford, Klaus will be helping others deeply understand their world and themselves.

In every dimension, "the number of options the school makes available are amazing—they're all just out there for students to grab," says Ian Klaus. And Sarah Johnson says of the quality of the student experience, "I've talked to a lot of people from other schools, and I can't believe how different it is at Washington U. There's some sort of magic here."

Klaus is working on his senior honors thesis on American reminiscenses of the Vietnam War. This summer he received a Bemis Fellowship to study the letters and manuscripts of British World War I soldier poets at the Imperial War Museum in England.

Klaus has won two prizes from the Department of African and Afro-American Studies for his essays on apartheid relations and on cultural nationalism and homophobia in African-American literacy and culture in the 1960s

I think it was FireHat who once described her as appearing to have been fashioned by a MAD GERMAN WOODCARVER.

While she certainly can't help that -- or that her parents are over-educated trailer trash -- she COULD try to redeem herself by having the decency to remain out of the public eye as much as possible.

All the pics I've seen of her since the fumigation of the White House are of a GRINNING Chelsea with an almost "Hey, IN YOUR FACE, PEONS!" expression. Maybe the old man has been coaching her (when he's not COUCHING new interns!).

She, like her pervert old man and old lady ought to just go away.
