Time to call AG Ashcroft and urge a complete investigation and, if necessary, prosecution of MA under criminal statutes.

Great article showing yet another example of gun prohibitionists acting beyond the scope of law - let alone, the Constitution.

Article causes one to wonder just what CA AG Wm. Lockyear is up to, behind closed doors, in Sacremento.

Do YOU know what YOUR state AG is up to?

Don't be too sure. The more we expose stuff like this, the more the average person will get turned off. You give the other side enough rope, and they tangle themseves in a web of lies real fast.

They're a bunch of pikers up there in Mass.

Our guy Dick Blumenthal treats every business in CT that way!

Speaking as someone who knows Mass. socialists first-hand, this is another classic example of their "Why not ignore the facts?" attitude.

Ashscroft should make an example of these guys. Send in the FBI, prosecute them for abuse of power and under the RICO act as conspiring to deny the citizens of the state due process under the law.

Maybe in Bush's second term.... maybe. But I doubt it.

However, Bush and Ashcroft have an opportunity to act much in the way Johnson and Kennedy did by forcing the states to act in accordance with Federal law and the Constitution.

Does anyone know the name of the Mass. AG? It seems to be conspicuously missing from this article.

The key points to remember are as follows:

* In states such as Massachusettes, Connecticut and Rhode Island "the people" are largely ignored. If one sticks up to much from the surface the hammer in the form of police action pounds the individual down. Elections are pretty much foregone conclusions with Democrat control of the cities being sufficient to ensure absolute control of the legislature. Unions, ethnic voting traditions, and endemic corruption insure the Democrat rule.

*The politicians in these states are insulated from Federal prosecution by the cooperation of their federal office holder cohorts who use their Senate and House positions to maintain the local machines.

* Favors done in some cases decades previously such as helping someone get a job, dealing with a health insurance problem etc. are called in every election year.

* The fraud of being a nice Irish, Itralian, Jewish, Polish boy/girl who is merely continuing the family tradition is trotted out in nursing homes every election.

* Never ever forget that in these states the majority of the vote counts are controlled by officials who are appointed/elected by the Democrat Party.

* The Republican Party in these states is often bought off by a piece of the pie. The Free Republic term is RINO but in point of fact it is the access to state and local coffers taht matters.

* The relative large number of Academic institutions and the desire of politicians of both parties to appeal to the denizens of these swamps of political correctness limits the acceptable spectrum of debate.

In many ways the situation for many of these states is hopeless. I think they shall need to descend totally into the depravity of third world states beforw they can be redeemed but then again I always liked operating behind the lines.
