Like most LA Slimes articles, this comes straight from the press office of the governor in Sacramento.
I have posted this morning that this will be the dirtiest campaign yet with a focus on abortion, homophobia, racism, anti immigrants and of course the evil GW.
The population that votes in mass for the rats has been dumbed down for decades. They live in fear that if Repubies are elected, there will be no welfare, no abortion, no drugs, and no special rights for the perverted ones. They live in fear of the 10 commandments and judgement when they commit crimes instead of tolerance! The unions and the teachers unions will spend massive amounts of legal and illegal money.
The large enviral organizations will launder donations and send it to Davis or spend it themselves campaigning against the evil conservative. Every major fishwrap will be for Davis from front page to back page. All tv channels will air Davis from now until after the election.
This why we need a strong Free Republic to get the real story out and to counter the dozen dirty tricks each day!
That is just the stuff that we will see and know about!
We in for a fight like what has been going on over in Afghanistan!

"... so long" means since 1946 or earlier. My father was doing things like that more than 50 years ago. I had a hard time persuading teachers that most of the political scenes in Eugene Burdick's The Ninth Wave were based on Burdick's observations of my father in action. They found the poker game to especially unbelievable until I gave them the phone number of one of the other guys there.
My son at UC Santa Cruz read about some of South's gimmicks and called me to say those sounded like the stories of my father and I about our own political nefariousness.
Republicans need more of the late lee atwater types, fight fire with fire.
Sandy learned of the limits of opposition research during that campaign too. He had to pull his spy out of Pierre's campaign because everyone in Murphy's HQ would stop working for the day to giggle over the spy's weekly reports on Pierre's love life.
And you don't what to know what Nixon did to Reagan at Miami in 1968. It had Goldwater and Thurmond running around backstage telling everyone, "Ya gotta vote for Dick! We can't tell you why, but you just gotta!"
