When you are on the right course, it doesn't make sense to deviate from that course because your enemy proves conclusively why he is your enemy. Under normal circumstances we abide by the rules of the Geneva Convention, and I believe we should continue that course, else, the next conflict we find ourselves in could prove even worse for those in harms way. We should just chalk the death of this brave warrior up to "knowing the enemy" as if we didn't already. WTC, We shall never forget.

PS, the Geneva Convention, was designed, like our Constitution, for law abiding nations, and now we know even more about the enemy, as if we didn't know already, do the words lawless, ruthless, without mercy, apply? To them not us. We kill to avoid being killed, and for good to reign over evil, they kill, because they are ruthless, bloodthirsty, evil, and misguided.

In the Pacific War, prisoners were rarely taken by either side.
They started it.
Ameican tanks were then festooned with the rotting heads of dead Japanese.
We won.
