I realize that this is off topic, but if you think it's bad that not one Dem came out to challenge Tiny Tom's lie, did you hear the report on FOX last night about the Dems and their trying to blackmail Charles Pickering's son into giving up his House seat to guarantee his dad's nomination? I thought that story would have this place going ballistic.

I'm not in the least bit surprised by this. The democrats are running scared but they know the "main stream" press will never cover Daschles obvious lies. I'd bet anything this bit of news won't hit ABC, CBS, NBC, or CNN. Not today, not next week not even next year. Daschle will get away with it.

It's not a backbone problem. The Administration was appropriately observing security precautions with classified information.

Did Daschle know that the Administration couldn't address his IGNORANCE claim because of CLASSIFIED INFORMATION?

And that was back in the late 50's, I graduated in 1960. The whole idea

Uh, isn't this gonna be relatively easy for Daschle to explain away? He was there on 9-11, just one day presumably ... a visit to a bomb shelter. He wasn't around long enough to see the facility house on-going government functions.

Yes, I did hear, and thought the same thing; where was the outrage, I wondered; but did not have time to personally post this revelation; was sure 'someone' would!

Fox & Friends discussed this during AM show; bet no one at the other networks has even touched it.

Need to get this one up and running. . .along side Daschle. . .

Daschle will not get away with this lie if you help publicize it. Call your reps and senators. Tell your neighbors. Call local reporters. It is indeed newsworthy. And someone please post the facts - who, what, when, where as allegedly reported by Fox News.

Another question to ask: Daschle says he was not consulted on various matters. Has anyone asked the chairmen of the Intelligence Committees if the Administration has briefed them, routinely? I'll bet the answer is YES.
