What is outrageous, the local Fire Department cleaned the sight where Danielle's body was discovered. They removed all the trash and junk from the area, and they were the ones who built the wooden stairs to the memorial area. And the cheesy VD's remove the memorial flowers, bouquets and balloons..??? SCUM, ABSOLUTE SCUM...there tears are flowing, like crocodiles on the Nile!!! I am out of here for awhile, I am so ticked off, I am afraid I might put a fist through my monitor. They ask San Diego for help. San Diego helps. They ask San Diego to mourn. San Diego mourns. Moving the memorial is like saying "screw you" to everyone who came by to express their emotions, and to their daughter also, to serve their needs. It is not about them, it is about their dead daughter!

Who thinks of hiring a bloody PR firm during a child-snatching? How many parents worry about their public image while searching for their child? Did they need someone to coach them on how to appear grief-stricken? A lawyer I could see, a PR firm is beyond the beyond.

Hang on there, Fres, for what it's worth, my guess is that people will ignore the vds and keep going to the old memorial. At one time they tried to get people visiting the OKC bombing site to leave gifts and notes in a special place, but they kept returning to the same old fence. Sometimes these things almost have a mind of their own. But yah, I'm disgusted too.

I don't think anyone hopes the parents were involved, I think that alot of people are just getting sick of changing stories and parents who will not tell the truth and act like everything is all about them, not their daughter.

Briefly, the same people who, even before they found their daughter's body, were asking who the best agent was. But note: the expensive p.r. firm was working pro bono. It is my understanding that the less expensive one they had before the high-dollar ones had been hired, then let go once the big boys stepped in.

I think people who are only worried about themselves hire a PR firm. Word has it they signed a book and movie deal before they even found their daughter.

Hope, not hope, but their actions continue to spit in the eye of everyone, LIKE YOU, who want to apologize for their actions. These folks may have NOTHING to do with the abduction, and death of the child, and they may not in fact have the promiscuous and decadent lifestyle that is alleged, but this much is a fact, they are very low class....flame away baby...FDA These VD's are beyond description....what's next, a bar-b-q at Dad's?

I'm guessing but I think they don't want a media orgy. This was shaping up to be a mini-Jon Benet Ramsey complete with a young-ish Southern California couple, a suburban murder with swingers and sex with neighbors. I know they said the media pool included all of Europe and Australia.

I don't know whether you know or not, but Patsy Ramsey has late term ovarian cancer. Supposedly it has spread to her liver. If you remember she had it before JB was killed and it was in remission.

You might be right, yet it almost seems as though the media circus could be to the defense's benefit. But nevertheless, I don't know if this freight train can be stopped--despite claims by some Freepers that it's not really "news", I find articles on many of the foreign papers' sites (same AP and Reuters that we've already posted)--so there is already a lot of interest. I'm not sure it can be shut down that easily. And--leaks will happen, without doubt.

I wasn't aware of that. I hadn't heard much about the Ramseys at all until this little girl disappeared and people began comparing the two cases.

The Ramsey case was/is BIG. There have already been at least a half dozen books out. The thing is it never really broke since the internal politics in Boulder CO seemed to get in the way of the investigation and arrest. Perhaps we will get a death-bed confession from Mom (altho I doubt it).

I dunno Fresno lots of things still don't add up.

1. Why take the kid to the RV two doors away not knowing when SDPD would show up. And if they RV was parked at the business where is the DNA in the truck?

2. Why would a seemingly intelligent man leave the "child porn" on the computer when he had to know they'd come looking in his direction?

3 The area that the body was found was searched once AFTER DW was arrested and nothing was found and they go back 5 days later and poof!! There's a body fairly close to the road. Huh?

Yeah, yeah, I know I'm fixing to get flamed... but between that and the shifting memories something doesn't smell right. There are more people involved than just Davey. Who are they? There are other pedophiles in SD area anyway isn't there a local official who was arrested for kiddie porn? Who knows who is being protected. It all goes back to something Pierce said about people would be REALLY SHOCKED.
