We act, rather, to make sure that our enemies soon lose the ability to attack us in such a cowardly fashion ever again, by destroying those who would make such attacks and giving an object lesson to those who'd consider doing it in the future.

Yes, and the sooner it is acknowledged across the board that the U.S. and Israel have the right to pursue their own self-defense the better.

Enough of the "Fifth Column" Tom Daschles, the tch-tching Euro-fairies, the surpassingly insufferable Kofi Annan.

Patton's remark is apt, that war is not dying for your cause, but making the other fellow die for his.

Osama's Al Qaeda and their downstream and upstream, Yassir Arafat and every flavor of his craven gang, and Indian muslims setting fire to trainloads of Hindu women and children are begging to die.

Witness their current frenzy of killing, they deserve to get their wish.

Who cares? I'm not looking for anyone to acknowledge anything, much less "across the board."

It doesn't matter. For all the diplomatic posturing, behind the scenes everyone knows the rules, that nations have the right of self-defense.

The sooner you ignore those whose words aren't worth a fart in a whirlwind, the better you'll sleep at night.
